HISTORY OF THE ST HOCKEY TOUR

The national St Hockey tour was organized for the first time in 2004 and the tour is organized annually. In 2004, the tour included three qualifying tournaments and the final event, which was already organized then in the center of Helsinki. In the first year, 71 teams and about 1200 players will participate in the tour.
 

In 2005, the number of teams almost doubled and the tour included a total of eight event weekends in seven different locations.

Over the years, St Hockey events have been organized in more than ten cities around Finland. About 4,000 players participate in the tour every year.  Every year, familiar faces from the world of sports and entertainment participate in the tour and the All Star games. At the events, spectators can enjoy the top performances of teams and individual players.
